What is included with my conference registration?
All conference registrations include access to keynote presentations and mainstage experiences, Leadership Strategy Labs, Empowerment Zone activities, networking events and receptions, breakfast and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, and conference networking tools available through the event app.
What is the difference between Conference Registration and the Signature Experience Pass?
Conference Registration includes access to all core conference programming and networking activities. The Signature Experience Pass includes all Conference Registration benefits plus participation in one exclusive Signature Experience designed to provide deeper learning, meaningful connections, and unique perspectives on leadership, innovation, and personal growth.
How do I select my Signature Experience?
Participants who purchase a Signature Experience Pass will select their preferred experience during registration. Space is limited and selections are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can I participate in more than one Signature Experience?
No. Signature Experience Pass holders may select one Signature Experience as part of their conference registration.
Are meals included with registration?
Yes. Breakfast and lunch on Tuesday, 17 November and Wednesday, 18 November are included with all conference registrations. Lunch is also included with all Signature Experiences. In addition, the Heart of Texas Welcome Reception on Monday evening includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages.
Is transportation provided for Signature Experiences?
Transportation is provided for offsite Signature Experiences, including the HBA Think Tank Solutions Summit at the Texas Medical Center and the NASA experience at the Johnson Space Center.
Do I need to purchase a Signature Experience Pass to attend the conference?
No. Conference Registration provides access to all mainstage sessions, Leadership Strategy Labs, Empowerment Zone experiences, networking activities, and conference meals. A Signature Experience Pass is an optional upgrade for attendees who would like to participate in one of the exclusive Signature Experiences.

Can I change my Signature Experience selection after registering?

Are the Signature Experiences included in the Conference Registration price?
No. Signature Experiences are available exclusively through the Signature Experience Pass.
Can I register if I am not currently an HBA member?
Yes. Nonmembers are welcome to attend the conference. During registration, nonmembers will select a registration option that includes HBA membership.
When should I arrive if I am participating in a Signature Experience?
Participants attending a Signature Experience should plan to arrive in Houston in time to participate on Monday morning. For offsite experiences, including the HBA Think Tank Solutions Summit and the NASA experience, attendees should plan to be at the Marriott Marquis by 7:15 a.m. CT. Grab-and-go coffee and breakfast will be available, and buses will depart promptly at 7:30 a.m. CT. For onsite experiences, attendees should plan to arrive by 7:45 a.m. CT. If you are traveling from outside the Houston area, we recommend arriving on Sunday and adding an additional night to your hotel reservation.
My organization requires approval before I register. Are resources available to help me make the case?
Yes. Attendees can access a Letter to Supervisor, Team Registration Justification Letter, Conference Investment Estimator, Team Investment Estimator, and Leadership Strategy Lab ROI Overview to support approval discussions and planning.
Are team discounts available?
Yes. Organizations registering 10 or more participants receive a 10 percent registration discount.
Is the conference available virtually?
No. The 2026 HBA Annual Conference is designed as an in-person experience in Houston, Texas.
